I recently attended an event where 500 women were present and I I might have been the only one without amped-up lashes! I tried lashes once from Walgreens years ago for a wedding reception and managed to get a clump of glue the size of a corn puff stuck on my eyelid in which my husband had to slowly chip away at with tweezers for days. Needless to say, I haven’t had any interest in the lash craze. However, numerous people have mentioned Battington Lashes….that they were easy to apply, looked more natural and were animal cruelty-free. When the founder of Battington Lashes and I ended up having our kiddos in the same class I thought it might be a sign from the universe.
Sirine Swed, Founder + CEO of Battington Lashes headed over and informed me I’d be putting the lashes on myself. Doubtful, but willing to try, Sirine walked me through the steps: Apply glue to the lash, wait 30 seconds, place it on your lash line, pinch down and voila. It did take me a few times but I’m confident my speed will improve with practice and no chiseling with tweezers was required for removal!
Everything you need to know about these beauties is on Battington’s website. But to summarize, the lashes are:
Silk so they are lightweight, hold their curl, last longer than mink and synthetic and are animal cruelty free.
They are the most natural looking lashes in the market, all while lasting longer* than any other lash.
*Up to 25 applications
And perhaps the best part, 2% of each sale goes to Global Fund for Women. Battington believes in supporting strengthening women all over the world.
