Salmon Wasabi Burgers

Salmon Wasabi Burger- LIFE SMART by Carrie Dorr

Serves 4


  1. 1 lb skinless salmon filet

  2. 1 tbsp fresh ginger, peeled and minced

  3. ¼ cup fresh scallions, finely chopped

  4. ¼ cup fresh cilantro, minced

  5. 2 large eggs

  6. 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice

  7. ½ cup blanched almond flour (not almond meal)

  8. 1 tsp celtic sea salt

  9. ¼ cup wasabi powder

  10. 1 tbsp water

  11. coconut oil for frying


  1. Rinse salmon, pat dry, and cut into ¼ inch cubes.

  2. In a large bowl, combine salmon, ginger, scallions, cilantro, eggs, lime juice, almond flour, and salt.

  3. In a small bowl, combine wasabi powder and water to form a paste.

  4. Mix wasabi paste into salmon mixture.

  5. Form batter into 2-inch patties with your hands.

  6. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.

  7. Sauté patties in batches until golden brown, 6 to 8 minutes per side.

  8. Serve!
